Fluens Synthesis AS is a Norwegian company located on the campus at the University of Bergen, Norway. Fluens Synthesis is developing, documenting and patenting technologies for milliscale chemical processing. During the period 1999-2005, the founder Professor Dr. Hans-René Bjørsvik in collaboration with Dr. Lucia Liguori worked on a concept for a continuous flow milli-reactor system for organic synthesis purposes. In November 2005 professor Bjørsvik joined forces with the Unifob foundation that is headquartered in the City of Bergen and established Fluens Synthesis AS with the mission to provide innovative and cutting edge technology of high commercial value for the use in the pharmaceutical and the fine organic chemical industries.
The Fluens Synthesis patent applied milliscale reaction technologies provide:

- Improved controll of difficult reactions
